Embodied regulation for overwhelmed, high-functioning women
Regulation Training LAB is a small-group Dance Movement Therapy cycle for women who understand a lot about themselves — but still feel stress, tension, rushing, overthinking, or emotional overload in the body.
This is not a dance class and not fitness.
It is a therapeutic body-based lab where we explore how your nervous system, emotions, habits, and inner patterns show up through movement.
Across 3 months, we will work with:
grounding and safety in the body
stress patterns and body tension
bound vs. free flow
inner rhythm, pace, and pressure
movement habits connected to daily life
self-expression without performance
integration of body awareness into everyday situations
The work is gentle, structured, and trauma-informed. You do not need any dance experience. You only need curiosity and willingness to listen to your body at your own pace.
Each session includes:
arrival and nervous system regulation
guided movement exploration
individual and group-based exercises
moments of stillness and reflection
simple take-home body awareness tools
The first cycle showed that many women carried similar patterns: rushing, bound tension, active feet, little voice expression, pressure around time, and difficulty accessing free flow or ease. LAB 2 builds directly on these themes and goes deeper into sustainable regulation, expression, and embodied choice.
